See that cutest little boy in this picture? His name is Matthew James Pedrotty. The girl he is with is his cousin Reagan who is also a darling. I am going to tell you his story but know that it might not all be completely accurate as I am fitting all the pieces together from Facebook posts and brief phone conversations. While this beautiful little boy was in his mothers tummy she and her husband had a little miracle given to them. Heavenly Father blessed them to have a feeling about how truly special this little boy is and was going to be. God allowed them to have a glimpse into how this little boy would change their lives.
A couple weeks ago he started complaining about a dull pain in different parts of his body. After a few days he had to result in limping because his legs hurt so much. They took him to the doctor. Side note; This family just moved to Indiana to start his residency. He was going to become a doctor. Most of their family is here in Albuquerque and they were nervous and excited to leave all they know to start their new life in a new state.
So he has been in the hospital a week now I think, and he has cancer throughout most of his bone marrow. He has a tumor by his stomach and wrapped around his spine. The tumor is in his head too and he has lost most of his hearing in one ear. He is in pain and so is his family. He needs your prayers. It would take a true miracle for him to recover but as always we can always find miracles everywhere. The miracle I have seen every day since this has happened is that this little boy has still managed to smile and find joy daily. Another miracle is that his beautiful mother Elissa has kept her strong testimony of God and our Savior. She knows that this little boy's life is in His hands. She knows that if Heavenly Father decides to take him then it is His will. She knows they are sealed as an eternal family and she will see him again. She will be his mommy forever and he will be taken care of while she is on this earth. She is a great example of strength to all of us. He is starting chemo very soon. If any of you want to help there is a blog set up and they need all the help they can get.
