My kid updates

 What can I say about this princess of ours.  She is a gem.  She sings all day long and then tells us what a good singer she is.  She "helps" Colin all day long which somehow just makes him scream.  She adores school and friends like I always did.  She wishes she could go to school every day.  Today she was making her bed and as usual she was carrying on a conversation with someone and she said, "oh my G-O-D."  Of course I put an end to that immediately and then I got sad because that was just a reminder of how we don't live in Utah anymore.  She is our sweet princess who kisses everyone all day and smiles at everyone while scrunching up her nose all day.  We adore her and are so happy she is a part of us.

My Jack boy is the best.  He is the best big brother and helps his siblings and I so much.  At parent teacher conference yesterday his teacher said he is always a good sweet boy and always nice.  She said he is popular with the adults around school.  This caused me to say, "What?"  She said, "Oh yes, all the teachers are like, 'You have Jack?' I love Jack.'"  She said it is because he is such a good boy.  She said he makes her laugh.  She said when he does his work he is always standing up because he does not sit still ever.  She said he is an advanced reader but he gets distracted to easily. That is from both sides of the family i'm afraid.  Today he is home from school but Lucy went to school so him, Colin and I went to Costco.  He said at the end, "It is so fun being here with just you and Colin."  It might be because Lucy bugs him who knows but I agreed.  I love my boys for a completely different reason than my girl.  I hope Jack continues to be a good boy and choose the right.  He makes me so happy and yet I am the hardest on him.  I'm told its cuz he is the oldest.  I hope I don't mess this sweet spirit up.  He makes me so happy.

Oh my Colin is so amazingly cute I can't stand it.  He runs with his pigeon toes all day long.  He is passionate about everything.  Everything is his favorite thing.  He goes crazy when he sees any kind of transportation object.  He goes crazy when he sees any kind of animal.  He goes crazy when his dad or brother come home.  He goes crazy when he doesn't have his shoes on or you are trying to put the shoes he doesn't want on.  He goes crazy if you mention the Polar Express because he wants to watch the movie all day every day.   He becomes instantly quiet if you start singing a song from the polar express and tells anyone around him to "shh" if you try to talk during it.  He goes crazy if he hears bath water running and you are not getting him undressed in a timely fashion so he can join whoever it is that is getting in the bath.  He goes crazy if he sees any super hero anywhere.  He goes crazy with screams whenever we try to send him to nursery.  He fiercely  copies anything his older brother does.  He goes crazy if he feels like he might need some food and you don't have it sitting in front of him right when he wants it.  I guess he gets this from me because even if you know me just barely you know how passionate I am about Nordstrom, Spaghetti, mini Snickers, Glenn Beck and shoes.  He makes us smile several times every day.  He makes us laugh multiple times every day.  He is the best and I am so happy he is mine for now anyway.  I just hope I can channel this passion into good things.
