Jack and I got to go to the nutcracker for his field trip. It was the worst nutcracker I have ever seen but the kids loved it and I think Jack loved having me there. I will be sad when he stops spontaneously holding my hand without a care in the world. He is such a good boy.
Jack and Lucy came with me to see santa. I was holding Colin and he didn't want anything to do with him. Jack asked for Cars 2 and Cars Toon. I thought that was such a modest request. I love him. Lucy asked for a car she can drive herself.
This boy Colin makes us so happy. He is starting to say everything and he just loves Jack. He follows Jack around and laughs with him all day. He can't wait every day til Jack gets off the bus. He also adores his daddy and Mommy. He loves saying his prayers and is so sweet when he does it. He loves cars, trucks, trains, skateboards and bikes and airplanes. He always has at least one of these in his hands at all times.
Jack lost his first two teeth this past month. His first adult tooth pushed out two. He couldn't have been happier. I love that he decided he needed to write the tooth fairy a note and tell her he would rather have a toy. The tooth fairy very kindly wrote him back and said giving toys is not her job and she will just give a dollar. He is so proud of his toothless grin.
I love this boy. He is so responsible and helps me out all the time. He is so good with his siblings and they adore him. He gets himself ready all by himself for bed and for school. He knows how to clean his room. He knows how to clean the bathrooms and vacuum and he doesn't mind doing it. He knows how to get his own breakfast. He made his first basket last week at his game and he was so happy and proud of himself. He and Lucy are going to be on the same T-ball team this spring and he was so excited that she got to be on his team with him. I know he will watch out for her and take care of her so well.
